Description: Paul and Marty Law graduated from Asbury College in 1968 and began their missionary career serving with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church in Central Congo, Africa. Paul worked in agriculture development and Marty worked as a school teacher.
After completing seminary, Paul returned to the Congo and worked in many facets of missions. In 2005, the Bishop for the Central Congo Area of the United Methodist Church, asked the Laws to assist the church in its efforts to rebuild. Schools, clinics, and hospitals needed to be restored. The Bishop set as his top priority “the spiritual renewal of the Church.”The Laws have been assigned with the Southeastern Jurisdiction. (United Methodist Volunteers in Mission).
