DUMC Chancel Choir Newsletter

October 2019

Finishing September with a recruiting event like ‘Jingle Mingle’ makes my heart happy. In my time thus far as choir director, I’ve found an immense amount of dedication within our music ministry. That you are so interested in spreading our singing joy with others is a testament to our future as a music ministry.

2019-2020 is all about UNITY in our music ministry. I hope this time next year to find us having established new traditions, revamped old ones, and brought many new faces into our family. I hope to see us involved in ministry outside of our church home, impacting the community with the Joy of Jesus Christ.

It all starts with you. The people with whom you break bread, talk about life, and swap stories are our mission field. Everybody could use a little more everybody, and music is a unique opportunity to experience Christ in an incredibly communal way.
